JOHANNESBURG – Cosatu's 13th National Congress kicks off in Midrand on Monday.
It comes at a time when the country's biggest labour federation is facing enormous challenges.
Cosatu has lost over 300, 000 members since its last congress three years ago.
New Cosatu National Office Bearers are due to be elected, with current deputy Zingiswa Losi touted to be the favourite to replace president S'dumo Dlamini.
Members will also debate the federation's political, socio-economic, organisational and financial reports and resolutions.
