JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has chaired a virtual meeting of the President’s Coordinating Council from his private residence in Johannesburg.

This is to drive home the message that South Africans should stay in their houses during the 21-day lockdown.

The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy President David Mabuza, and included ministers, premiers and the South African Local Government Association.

The focus of the meeting was to discuss the implementation of lockdown measures.

It also looked at strategies toward economic recovery.
