JOHANNESBURG - Stage 8 rolling blackouts can't be ruled out, according to energy analyst, Sampson Mamphweli.

He says the grid is very unstable and the utility is waiting for diesel supplies.

Eskom has ramped up power cuts to Stage 4 this weekend between 8am and 10pm.
