WATCH: Thoriso Themane's father remembers slain son

LIMPOPO - Thoriso Themane was beaten to death by a group of attackers.

His attack filmed and distributed on social media.

Thoriso's father Mahlapahlapana Themane was interviewed in their family home and described the last time he saw his son.

Themane was reportedly at a musical rehearsal with friends before the events of his death. 

Mahlapahlapana Themane said the family had left the house unlocked on the evening of Thoriso's death so he could return.

The family contacted his friends before approaching the police and finally finding Thoriso's body at Polokwane Provincial Hospital.

Thoriso had died as a result of his injuries on Sunday morning.

Mahlapahlapana described his son as a compassionate, generous person with a passion for music. 

"I would say to him, I'm sorry I brought you into a vicious world like this and I'm sorry about what happened to you," Mahlapanhlana said in a final message to his son.
