JOHANNESBURG - Former Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane is defending ANC Secretary General, Ace Magashule.
Zwane and Magashule have both been embroiled in allegations of state capture.
Zwane has rubbished corruption allegations against Magashule in Peter-Louis Myburgh's book, 'Gangster State'.
“Let's take this opportunity and say we respect democracy in South Africa but we should also quickly say that we should not celebrate when people go out of their way to tarnish people they don't know,” said Zwane.
“That book to me is not fit to be where other books are, it said this book has been well researched and in my view anybody who says that, needs to be checked in their mind.”
Zwane is also adamant he has done no wrong in the Vrede dairy farm project and is challenging anyone with incriminating evidence against him to take legal action.
