JOHANNESBURG - After a three-week-long dry spell, water has been restored to Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.

Tshwane city officials say they'll be using water tankers for a few more days as the tap water may not be safe to drink yet.

Those most affected were patients at Jubilee Hospital, who were forced to rely on water tankers.

Infection risk was high as unsanitary conditions persisted.
