JOHANNESBURG - Western Cape Judge President, John Hlophe has withdrawn his application to interdict his suspension and possible impeachment.

In 2008, two Constitutional Court judges exposed how Hlophe approached them to try and influence a case involving former President Jacob Zuma and French arms dealer Thales, formerly Thint.

The Judicial Services Commission was expected to meet this week to decide whether they will recommend his suspension to the President.
