JOHANNESBURG - Eskom warned of a high risk of load-shedding on Wednesday morning, but said it would only implement power cuts if absolutely necessary.

On Tuesday, the power utility said the grid was under pressure because of breakdowns at a number of power stations. 

In an update late on Tuesday night, spokesman Khulu Phasiwe said no load-shedding was implemented as some of the power plants that we offline were brought back to service.
