KAGISO - Senior police officers have met with community leaders in the West Rand to discuss issues around illegal miners in the area.
It follows violent clashes between zama zamas and residents.

They're blaming the illegal miners for rising crime levels.
But residents maintain that they are not xenophobic.
They say they have a problem with illegal miners and crime.
