JOHANNESBURG - There are big expectations for President Cyril Ramaphosa when he presents his State of the Nation Address on Thursday evening.
A market analyst says Ramaphosa must give clear direction on South Africa's ailing state-owned enterprises.
Owen Nkomo says a lack of bold decisions on SAA and Eskom is worrying.

“After the official elections, we had hoped that President Ramaphosa when he takes charge he would start making those decisions without fear or favour," said Nkomo.
"The fact that we're still debating whether or not SAA is a viable entity that must continue to fly at the expense of the taxpayer is a big concern and the fact that we're still battling to deal with the Eskom issues is still a big concern."
