CAPE TOWN - A cold snap with strong winds is expected to hit parts of the country this weekend.
The South African Weather Service has issued a level-two weather warning for the Western and Northern Cape.
The unpleasantly cold or wet weather is expected to subside by Sunday evening.
Meteorologist Kgolofelo Mahlangu is urging motorists to be cautious.
