JOHANNESBURG - The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) has admitted there's been a data capture error in the country's election results.

However, it says even with the mistake, president-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa has met the fifty-percent plus threshold required to win the poll.

The MDC Alliance's challenge against Mnangagwa's victory will be heard in the country's Constitutional Court next week Wednesday.

Mnangagwa's ZANU-PF has filed opposing papers.

The Constitutional Court can throw the case out, declare a new winner, or order a fresh election.
