JOHANNESBURG - Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will rule on Tom Moyane’s application to cross-examine Public Enterprise Minister Pravin Gordhan.

It’s the first item of business at the state capture inquiry on Tuesday morning.

Moyane wants to query Gordhan’s testimony.

In March, Moyane’s lawyer argued to -- among other things -- restore his reputation.

But Gordhan’s lawyer argued the inquiry was not the correct forum.

Gordhan's legal representative Advocate Michelle le Roux told the inquiry that Gordhan has nothing to hide and is willing to assist the commission.
