JOHANNESBURG - The legal fees for former president Jacob Zuma have now skyrocketed to almost R17-million.
The fees previously stood at about R15-million but there’s been an increase of about R1,4-million.
The additional amount is said to have been discovered after investigations by the Department of Justice.
The DA is launching an application to have this reviewed.
It wants to set aside agreements between the Presidency and Zuma on covering the legal costs for his criminal prosecution.
This case will be heard on 6 and 7 November in the North Gauteng High Court.
