JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa, says some healthcare workers need clarity about the online vaccine registration process.
Registering on the database is a precondition for vaccination.
At least 80,000 healthcare workers are expected to receive the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
"Information still needs to be cascaded down to healthcare workers," says spokesperson Sibongiseni Delihlazo.
"Many healthcare workers have registered, but there are still those that haven't been informed."
Denosa says they do not want to lose any more health workers.
The first batch of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines arrived in South Africa on Tuesday night.
