JOHANNESBURG - Police arrested a pastor on Tuesday following the gruesome discovery of body parts of a mutilated four-year old boy in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal.

KZN police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said the boy&39;s body parts were found at a church, cut into pieces and stuffed into a bag.

"We are still looking for his missing body parts. At this stage we can&39;t say the incident was muthi-related."

Zwani said, "The motive of the killing is still unknown."

A case of murder was opened.

The 51-year old pastor is expected to appear at the Pongola Magistrate&39;s Court.

On Tuesday, outraged community members vandalised the church. They also burnt the church&39;s roundavel.

Zwane said 15 people were arrested for public violence.
