AfriForum applies for urgent interdict against Malema

Johannesburg, 30 April 2016 -Malema has also warned the ANC that the countrys soldiers are EFF supporters.

PRETORIA - Civil rights organisation AfriForum has applied for an interdict against EFF leader Julius Malema to ban him from inciting land grabs.

On Monday, Malema appeared briefly in a Bloemfontein court for allegedly inciting party members to invade land in December 2014.

That case was postponed to June next year.

But after court, he again reiterated the call for people to occupy land.

Malema now has five days to indicate whether he will oppose AfriForum's application.
