JOHANNESBURG – Foreign investments will not be safe if land expropriation without compensation goes ahead in South Africa, lobby group AfriForum’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ernst Roets said on Wednesday.

He made the comments during an interview with eNCA on land policy.

Roets said land expropriation without compensation could be described in five words: “Destructive, dishonest, ahistoric, racist, theft.”

The National Assembly discussed the matter on Tuesday.
