JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng health authorities will be holding a special meeting to resolve problems affecting forensic pathology officers in the province.

The Nehawu-affiliated workers have been on a go-slow for nearly two weeks over working conditions.

Union members are also demanding learnerships for union members to become registered pathologists.

The strike has caused chaos at mortuaries with bereaved families unable to bury their loved ones on time.
