JOHANNESBURG - ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe said if called as witness by the court he will gladly obliged.

The ANC has seen its members battling each other in court as the party approaches its 54th elective conference in December.

Despite this, Mantashe is adamant that the conference will go ahead as planned.

He said the KZN court battle was water under the brige and they are only awaiting the outcome of the Eastern Cape court case.

Earlier in November, the Eastern Cape High Court in Mthatha reserved judgment in the case over OR Tambo regional conference.

At the heart of the fight are claims of massive irregularities at the 2015 regional conference.
