ANC NEC dissolves KZN and Free State leadership

JOHANNESBURG – The ANC&39;s NEC has also disbanded the party&39;s Kwazulu-Natal and Free State provincial leaderships.

The two provinces had their provincial elective conferences nullified by the courts late last year.

Both provincial leadership structures backed Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma for President at last month&39;s elective conference.

The structures were challenged in court by supporters of Cyril Ramaphosa, who beat Dlamini-Zuma to become the ANC&39;s new president.
