JOHANNESBURG - The ANC NEC plans to discuss what’s in the best interests of the country with President Jacob Zuma on Sunday night.

That’s according to ANC Chairperson Gwede Mantashe.

His comments seem to contradict those of the party’s Secretary General Ace Magashule who says it’s an ordinary scheduled meeting of the top six.

Mantashe was addressing a church service in Kagiso a short while ago.

“We want to ensure stability that’s why tonight we are meeting with president Zuma, we are not going to humiliate him we are going to have a discussion about what is in the best interest fo the country," says Gwede Mantashe, ANC Chairperson.
