JOHANNESBURG - DA leader Mmusi Maimane accused the ANC of hypocricy during an interview with eNCA's Thulasizwe Simelane on Thursday.
Maimane, reacting to the governing party’s outrage over Solly Msimanga’s recent trip to Taiwan, referred to the ANC's hitorical relations with the island.

He pointed out a 1995 report in which then ANC President, Nelson Mandela, reportedly admitted to receiving $10-million from the Taiwanese government.
He also provided eNCA with two media reports to corroborate his position.
Msimanga previously claimed that he informed the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco) of his visit, used his diplomatic passport containing a Taiwanese visa for the trip, and on arrival was met in Taiwan by the South African liaison.
eNCA has offered the ANC a right of reply to Maimane's allegations.
