JOHANNESBURG – A Durban man, facing charges following a racist rant he made on social media, will be back in court in January.
Dawie Kriel is facing charges of crimen injuria after political parties opened a case against him earlier this month.
The Bluff resident posted a Facebook status referring to Hindus as 'devil disciples'.
Kriel’s comments came amid fireworks that were set off during the recent Diwali celebrations.
Political parties say such comments cannot be tolerated.
