JOHANNESBURG – Former Intelligence Minister, Ronnie Kasrils says Arthur Fraser&39;s new appointment in Correctional Service&39;s is worrisome.

Fraser is accused of meddling in investigations into a parallel intelligence network.

Former Intelligence Minister, Ronnie Kasrils says, “There’s such a cloud over this mean surely he should have been suspended pending the investigation.”

“When we see a move, it’s a demotion for sure but as you&39;re expressing yourself how can this man remain in this position with this cloud hanging over him.”

Fraser was implicated in state capture in the book The President&39;s Keepers. It says he is complicit in the looting of hundreds of millions of rands from a slush fund.

The President&39;s Keepers author, Jacques Pauw said that Fraser could be guilty of treason for setting up a home computer server into which reports were fed.

Fraser’s family says Pauw has allowed himself to be duped by an apartheid spy and a double agent who hides in Russia.
