Cabinet postpones meeting amid Zuma recall

JOHANNESBURG - The government has postponed a Cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 14 February.

In a statement, Communications Minister Kubayi-Ngubane said, “We are alive to the developments taking place in the ruling party.  Government  reassures South Africans that service delivery will not be impacted upon.”

The new date of the Cabinet meeting will be communicated in due course, she said.

Earlier, the ANC announced it is recalling President Jacob Zuma.

The ANC said it wants its president, Cyril Ramaphosa, to be the president of the country.
