JOHANNESBURG - It seems the ANC caucus in Parliament doesn&39;t know what to do with disgraced MP Mduduzi Manana.

There are mounting calls within the governing party and opposition for Manana to be removed as a member of Parliament.

He&39;s accused of assaulting his domestic worker Christine Wiro and offering her money to drop criminal charges.

The ANC Youth League describes Manana&39;s alleged behaviour as barbaric and inhumane.

The ANC&39;s caucus referred queries to the party, which is yet to comment on the matter.

The DA has laid a complaint with Parliament&39;s ethics committee.

Speaker Baleka Mbete says Manana&39;s conduct is worrying and wants the committee to make a recommendation.

Last year, Manana was convicted of assault after slapping a woman in a nightclub.
