JOHANNESBURG - In the midst of ongoing student protests, Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande will make representations before the Fees Commission on Thursday.

Among the Commission's terms of reference is investigating the feasibility of fee free tertiary institutions.

The meeting comes on the heels of the South African Students Congress calling for a national shut down of all the country's campuses today and Friday.
