Kubayi's appearance comes days after she announced government would not appeal the Western Cape High Court ruling on the nuclear deal.

The Western Cape High Court ruled that the agreements were unlawful.

It also comes amid the opposition's call to challenge Eskom's decision to reinstate Brian Molefe as CEO.
