JOHANNESBURG - The arbitration hearings into the Life Esidimeni tragedy continue on Friday.
On Thursday, Levy Mosenogi who was in charge of moving psychiatric patients from Life Esidimeni to NGO's, apologised for his actions.
He also criticised his then boss Qedani Mahlangu for having no real experience in the health sector and said that in future only health professionals should be appointed to the role.
The death toll of patients who died as a result of being moved from Esidimeni to non-governmental organisations, which were operating unlawfully, has risen from 118 to 141.
