WATCH: National Assembly debates racism

PARLIAMENT - The National Assembly on Tuesday held a special debate on racism, following President Jacob Zuma's call for the country to work together to eradicate racism during his State of the Nation Address.

Racial tensions broke out at the University of the Free State recently at a rugby match in a racially motivated incident and January former estate agent Penny Sparrow made headlines after calling black African beachgoers monkeys.
