Pietermaritzburg, 24 June 2016 - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa and Minister of Health Dr Aaron Motsoaledi launch a programme that aims to decrease HIV infections in girls and young women and keep girls in school.

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, will launch the five day countdown to the AIDS2016 International Conference in Durban on Wednesday.
The 21st International AIDS Conference is scheduled for the 18-22 July.
AIDS 2016 is convened by five permanent partners: the International AIDS Society (IAS), Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+), The International Community of Women with HIV/AIDS (ICW), the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO) and UNAIDS in collaboration with international and South African scientific and civil society partners.
Over 18,000 delegates, including 1,000 journalists from around the world are expected to convene for the summit.
