PRETORIA - The Public Protector says she expected to be interviewed on her findings, but Parliament&39;s ad hoc committee on Nkandla voted against a consultation.
Madonsela says her findings have been distorted and this undermines the Chapter Nine institution.
She asserts the report didn&39;t ask any minister to determine how much the president should pay back. Instead, President Jacob Zuma needed to decide the amount himself, with advice from Treasury and the South African Police Services.
The Public Protector says she intends to address these issues with the President.
