
Cosatu's acting general secretary Bheki Ntshalintshali said a special national congress will not take place this year.
JOHANNESBURG – Cosatu wants President Jacob Zuma to step down.
The federation's general secretary, Bheki Ntshalintshali said Zuma's Cabinet reshuffle was based not on merit but rather political loyalty.

He further said that Zuma has "failed to deal with some most incompetent ministers in his Cabinet".
Ntshalintshali urged Zuma to allow for a new collective to take over but also reaffirmed Cosatu's committed to the tripartite alliance.
