
Cosatu's acting general secretary Bheki Ntshalintshali said a special national congress will not take place this year.
JOHANNESBURG - Cosatu will add to its agenda a discussion to call for President Jacob Zuma to step down.
The matter was not initially on the agenda but was brought forth at the federation's central executive committee meeting taking place on Monday.

Cosatu's Bheki Ntshilntshali has said that they cannot ignore the current developments any further.
The SACP is also deliberating over Zuma’s cabinet reshuffle. On Friday, the SACP expressed its unhappiness with Zuma’s decision and called on him to stand down. The SACP also undertook to develop a programme of action around the call.
