Court hears how Danish national wanted wife murdered

BLOEMFONTEIN - In the latest shocking revelation in the trial of Danish national. Peter Frederiksen the Bloemfontein High Court has heard how he put out a hit on his wife in Lesotho.

The court also heard of how Frederiksen painstakingly documented female circumcisions he carried out.

A convicted criminal testified that Frederikson approached him while in jail and asked him to help with the murder of his wife.

The man says he contacted a criminal associate based in Lesotho to execute the hit.

This man later confirmed to the witness that the job was done.

The man also testified that the total amount for the murder was R120,000, and that he received R32,000 for his part in the plot.

Another inmate testified that Frederiksen also approached him and two other inmates, saying he wanted his wife murdered.

Frederikson allegedly not only wanted his wife killed, but also the investigating officer.

Cross-examination of the organiser of the alleged hit on Frederiksen’s wife will continue.
