JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance has laid formal complaints against Bell Pottinger with two British PR associations.
On Thursday, the company apologised for the inappropriate and offensive social media campaign.
The company’s been accused of stoking racial tensions in the country.
The UK firm is trying to distance itself from direct knowledge of its Oakbay campaign, claiming it was run by rogue staff.
The white monopoly capital campaign targeted then Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan and his deputy Mcebisi Jonas, who tried to expose the Gupta’s influence.
Bell Pottinger has promised to release a law firm’s report into its handling of the Oakbay account.
