JOHANNESBURG - Cooperative Governance Minister Des van Rooyen has reacted to the leaked emails scandal which implicates him in state capture claims.
He says he won't comment on matters that are part of the broader legal review of the State of Capure report.
The Gupta family has also dismissed the email revelations, saying it's all a political ploy.
Details of the messages were contained in Sunday newspapers.
They show the magnitude of the Gupta's purported influence, over government ministers and state-owned enterprises.
They also allege the family's at the heart of a scheme to provide the president with residence in the United Arab Emirates.
Ministers Mosebenzi Zwane, Van Rooyen and ANC Youth League president Collen Maine are among those implicated.
But the Guptas' lawyer has questioned the timing of the leaked emails, describing the reports as fake news, but vowing to investigate the claims.
