JOHANNESBURG - Two actors from local Mzansi Magic drama Ring of Lies have taken to social media to expose an incident of racism that allegedly occurred on set.

Award-winning actress Florence Masebe first tweeted about what she described as a "horrible racist incident" reportedly involving a crew member and the show&39;s director on Tuesday.

Fellow cast members Dineo Nchabeleng and Mpho Sebeng tweeted shortly after; wondering whether work could continue following the altercation.

Sebeng tagged the channel and the network using the hashtag RacismOnSetMustFall while calling for the dismissal of the cast member involved.

Masebe retweeted a screenshot of a reply from the crew member, apparently clarifying her comments. The tweet was later deleted and the account name changed.

In response to a media enquiry by the Juice, Mzansi Magic said it will issue a statement about Ring of Lies shortly.
