ECape ANC nominates Ramaphosa as party president

JOHANNESBURG - The Eastern Cape ANC wants Cyril Ramaphosa to succeed President Jacob Zuma as leader of the governing party.

Ramaphosa's secured the most branch nominations for the position during the Provincial General Council at East London's City Hall.

He also has the backing of the Western and Northern Cape.
