A divided Free State ANC is electing its provincial leaders.
The conference got off to a slow start on Sunday.
Registration of delegates was blamed for the 10-hour delay.
Ace Magashule is tipped to retain his position as the party’s provincial chair.
The province also wants him to become the national secretary at this weekend’s elective conference.
But, several ANC members are still challenging the legitimacy of the provincial congress.
They say the re-runs of the nullified Branch General Meetings failed to follow proper procedures.
