JOHANNESBURG - Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba says Eskom&39;s embattled executives Matshela Koko and suspended CFO Anoj Singh, must resign, in the interest of the country.

Gigaba was speaking to eNCA, a day after government announced a new board.

On Saturday the government announced that Jabu Mabuza will chair the new Eskom board.

The government also appointed Phakamani Hadebe as acting group Chief Executive.

It ordered the new board to get rid of all executives implicated in alleged corruption at the state-owned enterprise, including Koko and Singh.
