JOHANNESBURG - The lawyer representing families of the Marikana victims has slammed what he calls government&39;s growing culture of impunity and lack of accountability.

“The executive has reached a stage where they feel they don’t have to account to anyone but to their political party. The political parties themselves, the ANC and SACP, have begun to take a stance that says we are in charge. We are not accountable,” said Dumisa Ntsebeza.

Ntsebeza is confident that his clients&39; civil claims will be fruitful.
