Agriculture Minister Senzeni Zokwana is planning to visit affected farms in Limpopo.

He'll be accompanied by the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation.

The Fall armyworm is threatening South Africa’s food security.

The migratory pest -- native to South and Central America -- is new to the country.

Despite measures put in place to curb its spread, the worm is already causing havoc on crops in three maize-producing provinces.
