PRETORIA - The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) has dropped the charges against the second two officers implicated in the Gupta plane landing saga.

Earlier this week, charges against Christine Anderson and Stefan van Zyl were withdrawn.

The two Air Force members, together with Thabo Ntshisi and Nomsa Khumalo, had been charged with contravening the military defence code.

The Gupta family caused national outrage in April 2013 when a private jet carrying wedding guests arrived at Waterkloof Air Force Base.

A government task team found that some of the Guptas had colluded with government officials to authorise the landing.
