JOHANNESBURG - The Hawks raided the offices of North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo on Thursday morning.

North West Hawks spokesperson Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso confirmed to eNCA that the raid is related to charges of fraud and corruption, but he could not divulge which case the raid was related to.

Mahumapelo&39;s head of communications, Brian Setswambung, later indicated that the  Hawks raid was related to a three-year contract for IT services that the Premier&39;s office has with Nepo Data Dynamics.

"R205-million has been paid from 2016 to date. We welcome the raid and have nothing to hide," Setswambung said.
