JOHANNESBURG - Hugh Masekela&39;s fans celebrated his life at two memorial services in Johannesburg on Friday.
The jazz legend and anti-apartheid activist died after a long battle with prostate cancer on Tuesday.
Mourners also gathered at the Hugh Masekela Heritage Park at Zoo Lake for day-long services.

The Heritage Park chronicles Masekela&39;s six-decade career as an artist and activist.
Visuals, footage, and audio that reflect his life journey will be broadcast.
A second service will take place in Alexandra while the main memorial service will be held on Sunday in Soweto.
His funeral will be private, as per his family&39;s request.
