JOHANNESBURG - As South Africans await confirmation from the ANC about President Jacob Zuma's fate, many on Twitter are already celebrating.
The party is said to have given Zuma 48 hours to resign, failing which he will be recalled.
The ANC will hold a press conference at 2pm on Tuesday..
The hashtag #ZumaIsGoneParty trended on Twitter early on Tuesday, in anticipation of Zuma's exit.
Politics is a fickle game.Loyalties shift like the wind.Promises & oaths are made to be broken.Lies and dishonesty are a norm.People and laws are taken for granted and this is mostly due to us,the people, being too despondent. #Zexit #ZumaExit #ZumaMustGoNow #ZumaIsGoneParty pic.twitter.com/YNJpv5gz1D— Peter Mbele ---- (@p3t3_r3c0n) February 13, 2018
