JOHANNESBURG – A key witness in the trial against Durban based pastor, Timothy Omotoso, has been shot outside her house in Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth.

The charismatic preacher is accused of human trafficking.

The 39-year-old was outside her house when two shots were fired at her at close range.

The incident took place as the case was being transferred to the Eastern Cape High Court.

Police have opened a case of attempted murder.

“I wish they can face me, not to send people that I don&39;t know in the darkness, that I won&39;t even be able to see. I&39;m not scared of dying we are all gonna die it is just a matter of different dates. I don&39;t understand whether they are trying to scare me or they want to kill me,” the witness said.
