JOHANNESBURG – The bail hearing of Czech businessman Radovan Krejcir has been postponed to next Monday at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court.
eNCA reporter Karyn Maughan said all court rooms were cleared following a bomb threat on Monday.
The police&39;s tactical response team conducted a security search before the postponement was announced.
The National Prosecuting Authority said the media would be allowed into the court, but no cameras would be permitted.
Senior prosecutor Kenny Ramavhoya said the decision to hold proceedings in camera was taken for security reasons.
The Czech businessman was arrested last Friday following investigations by the South African Police Services crime intelligence unit.
He was charged with kidnapping and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, which stems from an alleged incident in June.
His co-accused was named as Desai Luphundo.
Police said his charges would be changed to attempted murder.
